Description:
|
|
A 10,000 gallon
aerated equalization basin with bar screen and
segmented chamber for emergency oil spillage
containment. This chamber is fitted with diffuser to
minimize solids disposition and to prevent septic
conditions. An equalization tank pump station with
pump designed to deliver up to 21 gpm of flow to the
extended aeration basin. An overflow to the aeration
basin is provided. An extended aeration basin with
duplex blower system for aeration of wastewater. A
clarifier with surface overflow rate equaling 361
gal/ft/2d and 229 gal/ft/2d at the maximum and
average design flows respectively. An anaerobic
digester designed for a holding volume of 2754
gallons. A 10,000 gallon septic tank will be
utilized for accessory storage of digested waste
activated sludge. A tablet chlorination system and
two-chambered chlorine contact tank. An effluent
flow meter, dissolved oxygen meter, and liquid level
monitors. A PLC based control system that interfaces
with the plant utility network. Pretreatment of ESP
wash waters consists of a 17.6 SF ultra filtration
unit. This unit is located in the manufacturing
facility. Wastewaters for pretreatment are metered
from this unit to the wastewater treatment facility
at a normal rate of 1 gpm. |
